Champion CT7-3

Find Champion CT7 Tungsten Carbide Tipped 3-Inch Hole Cutter 3-Inch Thick Metal good for steel, even stainless at low RPMBy Peter MitchellFor cutting stainless a TCT hole cutter like the Champion is the only cutter that will last. Important to run at half the RPM you would use on steel and to let the tungsten carbide teeth cut. Pilot bit is a hard to find 6mm one so a spare is a good idea before you start a big project. Ejection spring helps push out the metal plug after the hole is cut. I have cut 8 gauge stainless with ease. Price seemed high but it is worth it considering how fast it cuts and how long it lasts compared to a bi-metal or carbide hole saw. There are times when I wish I could put a 6 inch extension on the shaft but that is my only complaint.0 of people found the following review helpful. » More Information about Champion CT7 Tungsten Carbide Tipped 3-Inch Hole Cutter 3-Inch Thick Metal.
